Calculate your car mileage (km/L) and fuel cost.
Car Mileage Calculator India — Fuel Efficiency Guide
Mileage (fuel efficiency) in India is measured in km per litre (kmpl). ARAI-certified mileage is tested under ideal conditions — real-world mileage is usually lower than the certified figure because of traffic, AC usage, driving style, and road conditions.
Check the ARAI figure for your exact model and fuel type, then compare it with the mileage you measure yourself using the calculator above. Cost per 100 km is cost per km × 100, using your own fuel price.
How do I calculate my car's mileage?
Fill a full tank, reset the trip meter. Drive normally. Refill to full tank again. Mileage = distance driven ÷ litres filled in second refill. Example: Drove 400 km, refilled 28 litres → Mileage = 400÷28 = 14.28 kmpl.
How can I improve my car's mileage in India?
Maintain tyre pressure at the PSI recommended in your owner's manual, avoid aggressive acceleration/braking, use AC sparingly in city traffic, service the car regularly (air filter, spark plugs, engine oil), and drive at a steady, moderate speed on highways.
