Estimate your Employees' Provident Fund balance, with employee and employer contributions shown separately. EPS pension contributions are shown separately and are not part of your EPF balance.
Both PF shares use the standard 12% rate. Full-wage contributions require the applicable employer/employee arrangement. Check your payslip. Special 10% establishments, VPF and higher-pension cases are not modelled.
Projection only. EPS is excluded from this balance.
The editable 8.25% default is supported by EPFO's official declaration for FY 2024-25. The 2 March 2026 government release also records a recommendation of 8.25% for FY 2025-26, subject to notification. This is not a verified FY 2026-27 rate or a promise of future returns. Check the current EPFO rate and update the assumption before relying on results. Sources checked 16 October 2026.
With ₹15,000 monthly PF wages, the employee contributes ₹1,800 and the employer contributes ₹1,800. For standard EPS membership, ₹1,250 of the employer share goes to EPS and ₹550 goes to EPF. The monthly amount added to EPF is therefore ₹2,350. EPS is a separate pension scheme, not an interest-bearing EPF savings balance.
Not when standard EPS applies. The pension share is diverted from the employer contribution; only the remainder goes to EPF. If EPS does not apply, the full employer contribution goes to EPF.
This tool uses Basic + DA as the wage input, not CTC or take-home pay. EPFO's contribution document also refers to applicable retaining allowance and the cash value of food concessions. Include any applicable PF wage components after checking your payroll.
Actual PF wage policy, membership, contribution dates, salary changes, withdrawals, yearly notified rates and rounding can differ. Use your EPFO passbook and payroll records for account balances.
